Each of those has a different governing requirement — chemical resistance in a shop, slip resistance in a kitchen, abrasion resistance under forklift traffic, cleanability in a clinic. The specification follows the requirement rather than a default.

Specifying for the actual conditions
Chemical exposure, wheel loading, thermal shock from wash-down, and whether the floor needs to drain all change the system. We ask what gets spilled, what drives across it, how it gets cleaned and how often — then specify a build that matches, including slip-resistant aggregate and coved base where appropriate.
Where a floor needs line striping, safety markings or zone colors, we lay that out with you before installation.
Scheduling around your operation
Most commercial work is phased or done nights and weekends so the business keeps running. We section large floors, coordinate equipment moves, and where speed is the priority we specify fast-return polyaspartic systems that can put a bay back in service dramatically sooner than a conventional epoxy build.
Preparation and slab repair at scale
Commercial slabs arrive with joint spall, gouges, previous failed coatings and oil saturation. Preparation includes full mechanical profiling, removal of failed coatings, joint reconstruction and repair mortar work. On a commercial floor this is usually the largest single portion of the labor — and it is where a coating either lasts or fails.

Send square footage, the type of operation, current floor condition and any downtime constraints. We walk the space, document the slab and return a written scope and price. Multi-building and multi-phase projects are welcome.
